President John F. Kennedy was assassinated on November 22nd, 1963. He was riding with his wife Jackie to a luncheon when three fatal shots were fired at him.

 

On June 17th 1973 five men broke into the Democratic National Headquarters at the Watergate Hotel with equipment to photograph documents and wiretap the Headquarters. Frank Wills was the security

On May 6 1937, the Hindenburg burst into flames after the back of the vessel set on fire. 36 people were killed but the cause of the accident was never found.

 

Charles A. Lindbergh was the first man to make a solo flight, non- stop across the Atlantic Ocean. It was a great start to the era of aviation and proved that what was once thought of as impossible
